Managed switches
offer a broad set of features that allow for remote configuration and troubleshooting of the device. Management can be via serial console, Telnet or Secure Shell. Some managed switches now have Layer 3 features such as static routes, RIP V1/V2, and VRRP. Manages switches generally have greater and more customizable security features such as RADIUS, TACACS+, and AAA.

EtherWAN's abundant product options include a wide range of speeds, including fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps), gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps), and ten Gigabit (10/100/1000/10000 Mbps).
